This kinky community space that blends presence, connection, and learning rope bondage into one delightful evening. Come play in our space and discover what rope community can mean to you: attuned presence, nervous system regulation, embodied connection, care and consent, laughter and play, dominance and submission, technical practice, community shadow work, and more. 🐰👯♀️

This is not a lesson on knots. Rather, we will be cultivating an experience that allows each individual to develop their own intimacy toolbox. Through playing with trust, cadence, and power, you will learn to craft deep rope experiences. This workshop is taught and facilitated by Raven Mangiante and Glory Dang.

We will be celebrating with an open rope jam and a kink art show by local bay area artists. Don't miss the next Knotty Scouts meeting and earn a new badge for learning a new tie. We will have some community rope and Kink.com will also be onsite selling rope and toys.

From November 2022 to February 2023, Glory Dang is featuring their live shibari drawings in the Nook Gallery, an 87sqft. space in the studio for visual artists to display and sell their works on a rotating basis.
VoxBody Studio opened in Spring 2017 in Oakland, California. Our first studio enjoyed three bustling years before COVID forced us to shutter our doors in March 2020. After 20 months of online programming, we reopened in February 2022 and look forward to welcoming you! We are still in Oakland, in a larger and more conveniently located space, and we STILL LOVE ROPE!

The Education and Referral Organization for Sexuality (EROS), a part of San Francisco State University's Associated Students, is holding our 14th annual Sexuality Career Fair on November 4th. From 12:30-2pm there will be a panel discussion with speakers. Come by to learn about sex work and kink, discuss sexuality, and buy crafts from local artists in the Bay Area!

Our hope is not just to go beyond small talk, but to plant the seeds for deep connection. We hope to eventually evolve this into a recurring meet for folks to have a container for generative play, resource-sharing, and community.
